About the role
- These courses meet once a week with coordinated instructional activities.
- EP 468: INTRODUCTION TO ENGINEERING RESEARCH
- An introduction to the conduct of engineering research: the scientific method, ethics in research, documentation and treatment of research data, publication practices and the structure of the broader research community are covered.
Responsibilities
- Supervises the day to day activities of work unit employees involved in instructional support as needed
- Develops teaching techniques that enhance course effectiveness in alignment with desired outcomes and established strategy
- Assists in developing techniques and/or model programs for carrying out instructional goals in disciplinary area and may help identify ways in which new techniques could be of assistance
Requirements
- Proven track record of publishing peer-reviewed research articles and presenting at professional conferences
- Experience teaching research skills to undergraduate students
- Experience supporting undergraduate researchers through major milestones or multi-year research projects across diverse disciplines.
- Ph.D. in Engineering required

Compensation
- The starting salary for the position is $72,000, but is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
