About the role

  • Assist pharmacists in the accurate preparation and distribution of prescription medications.
  • Working Conditions This position frequently involves a fast work pace in a production setting.
  • Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in developing standard operating procedures
  • Maintains cleanliness of pharmacy and dispensing area
  • Maintains strict adherence to department and company guidelines related to personal hygiene and dress
  • Performs mail order call center duties including data entry to prepare prescription orders

Requirements

  • Night & Weekend Shifts Required -
  • ability to assist other members of the department.
  • Must have the ability to do logical or scientific thinking to solve problems
  • Have the ability to do arithmetic calculations involving arithmetic, algebraic and geometric calculations
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, assisting in the preparation of accurate prescriptions.
  • Must be able to compose original correspondence
  • Must be able to physically exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 10 pounds of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
  • Must be able to perform the following physical activities: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, standing, reaching, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks on a daily basis.
