About the role

  • Reporting to the Senior Manager of Quality Management Systems (QMS), the QMS Engineer - Internal Auditor is responsible for managing the internal audit program across all areas of the business.
  • This includes planning and leading audits to applicable ISO standards, documenting and reporting findings to management, driving closure of nonconformances and corrective actions, and contributing to continual improvement initiatives.
  • This is a 14-month temporary position with the possibility of conversion to regular full-time employment based on business needs and individual performance.

Responsibilities

  • 45%: Plan, lead, and conduct internal audits according to the latest ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and others as applicable), across multiple sites globally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or electronic engineering, materials science, semiconductor fabrication, or a related engineering discipline
  • OR a 2-year technical diploma/certificate in Electronics with a minimum of 10 years' relevant experience.
  • Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001. required.
  • Experience with 8D problem-solving, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) is required.
  • Incumbents may be required to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically included in this description.

Compensation

  • A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $98,000-$110,000.
  • There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base salary, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education and experience, as well as job location and the value of other elements of an employee's total compensation package.
