High School Diploma or GED required.
5+ years of mechanical assembly experience in aerospace, aviation, defense, or precision manufacturing.
Advanced electro/mechanical assembly techniques.
Ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics with minimal supervision and directions.
Proficient with torque wrenches, measuring equipment, and hand tools.
Mechanical troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Experience with calibration and functional testing.
Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and mentor others.
Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma knowledge preferred.
Install, align, adjust, and fit components using appropriate hand tools, measuring devices, torque equipment, and specialized tooling.
Diagnose and troubleshoot complex assembly and test issues and determine corrective actions.
