About the role

This role requires a hospitality professional with strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of hotel accounting, and sound judgment in decision-making.
Prepare and review monthly financial statements, journal entries, accruals, and supporting documentation for month-end close.
Oversee daily revenue capture and reporting; investigate and resolve discrepancies between POS (Point of Sale) and PMS (Property Management System) to ensure alignment between systems.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain and reconcile all ledgers with particular attention to the Guest Ledger, Accounts Receivable (AR) Ledger, and Deposit Ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
Collaborate with department heads to interpret financial data, monitor expenses, and support budgetary planning and forecasting.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of hotel accounting experience required.
Strong understanding of hotel-specific ledgers and the relationship between PMS and POS systems.
Demonstrated ability to prepare and analyze balance sheets and financial reports.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with hospitality accounting software (e.g., Sage Intact, Opera, Toast etc.).
A proactive and resourceful mindset, with the ability to assess situations thoughtfully and make well-informed decisions.
