About the role

  • Provide diagnostic ultrasound services within a structured healthcare environment supporting U.S. government personnel in Iraq.
  • Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant's background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic sonography examinations across a variety of patient presentations while adapting imaging techniques to support accurate diagnostic evaluation.
  • Use independent clinical judgment to support accurate diagnostic imaging and identification of normal and pathologic findings.
  • Participate in imaging quality initiatives, accreditation support, and ongoing clinical coordination activities within the imaging environment.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of recent ultrasound imaging experience within a hospital or clinical environment.
  • Ability to meet pre-deployment physical requirements, including prolonged standing, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Experience with digital image acquisition and transmission systems, imaging quality practices, or general x-ray support.
