Requirements

  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Possess a passion for following Jesus and leading others to see, know and experience him.
  • Christian camping or other ministry experience
  • Has gone through Rock-N-Water Guide School (or will if a former Trainee)
  • Agreement and compliance with camp Mission, Vision, Values, Staff Handbook, and Doctrinal Statement
  • Wilderness First aid and CPR certified
  • Valid California Drivers license
  • Has or will become ServSafe Food Handlers Certified (provided)
  • Proficiency in all adventure areas: guiding class III whitewater, setting top rope climbs and rappel stations, guiding top rope and rappel stations, guiding canyoneering trips, leading team building activities, and guiding backpacking trips.
  • Physical Requirements
  • Abilities sufficient to carry out the essential functions of the job - to include leaning, bending over, stooping, reaching, pulling, pushing, squatting, lifting, carrying, holding, and moving heavy objects
