Responsibilities
- Market Strategy: Create and execute marketing strategies for select accounts, determining where to market based on risk characteristics, large deductibles, captives, and detailed market analysis.
- Collaborate directly with Client Advisors in client-facing discussions on marketing strategy and placement outcomes.
- Data Analysis: Analyze Excel spreadsheets of prospect client exposure and/or loss data, as well as develop financial models of loss-sensitive programs when necessary.
- Market Relationships: Maintain familiarity and working relationships with various insurance companies and wholesalers, and stay informed of carrier appetites and market trends.
- Risk Resource Engagement: Identify opportunities to engage Risk Resources for specialized expertise and partner with them to deliver tailored solutions for complex client needs.
- Analyze Excel spreadsheets of prospect client exposure and/or loss data, as well as develop financial models of loss-sensitive programs when necessary.

Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant insurance experience, with an emphasis on mid-to-large commercial account placements
- Strong critical thinking, financial analysis, and negotiation skills with demonstrated ability to analyze complex market data and influence placement outcomes.
- Proficient with MS Office products, including a high knowledge of Excel and Word.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work.
- Experience with a broker/agent, including marketing large middle market accounts to carriers
- excellent knowledge of the markets.
- Strong knowledge of all basic applicable insurance coverages.
- Proficient in creating proposal presentation documents identified as required documents.
- Final candidates will be required to complete post-offer verification processes related to the role and in accordance with applicable laws.
- Excellent phone etiquette, written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work with minimum supervision; able to accept direction on given assignments.
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure document accuracy.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment with strong customer service skills.
- Experience with a broker/agent, including marketing large middle market accounts to carriers; excellent knowledge of the markets.
Nice to have
- Experience with Applied Epic a plus.
- College degree preferred.
- Pursuit of a professional designation - CRM, CISR, CIC, AAI, ARM, CPCU - preferred.
Skills
- Use rating tools and carrier systems, when applicable, to assist in the quoting and proposal development process.
Compensation
- The base compensation range for this position is $75,000 - $125,000.
