About the role
- Commercial Roofing Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and managing commercial roofing projects from start to finish, ensuring quality, safety, and productivity standards are met.
- This role supervises crews, coordinates job site activities, and ensures projects are completed on time and within scope.
- include new installations, re-roofing, repairs, and maintenance of commercial roofing systems, including TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified bitumen, and metal roofing systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor crews while maintaining productivity and quality standards
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting
Requirements
- 2+ years of superintendent experience in commercial roofing (REQUIRED)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans
- Experience managing crews, subcontractors, and job site operations
- Strong understanding of safety practices, OSHA compliance, and job site procedures
- Experience with installation of insulation, vapor barriers, flashing, and waterproofing systems
- Proficiency with tools and equipment such as hot air welders, hand torches, spray equipment, compressors, and power tools
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required)
Compensation
- Multiple wage reviews throughout the year
- Competitive salary: $90,000 - $100,000 annually (DOE)
