Requirements
- As a Pump Mechanic 1 you must be able to support the overall workload of the Repair Center.
- Must be able to follow routine procedures.
- Must be able to disassemble, repair, reassemble and test recondition components.
- Must be able to fill out inspection reports.
- Must be able to use complex equipment requiring continuous attention.
- Must be able to make minor decisions.
- Must be available for 10-15 % traveling, based on field service call out needs.
- Must be available for overtime, call-ins, etc. as needed to meet customer requirements.
Skills
- High School Diploma/GED and/or Equivalent work experience
- 3 years' experience working in centrifugal pump repair shop required
- Superb attention to detail
- Ability to multitask
- Analytical thinker
