Requirements
- Independent thinker with the ability to solve problems
- Experience accounting for external debt (bonds/notes/credit facilities), including interest accruals and amortization (effective interest method)
- Familiarity with debt accounting topics such as discounts/premiums, issuance costs, debt modifications/extinguishments, and covenant compliance
- Experience supporting audit requests and internal controls related to debt accounting, including documentation and review evidence

- Calculating and recording monthly journal entries
- Preparing monthly close schedules
- Ensuring monthly close deadlines are met
- Reviewing financial statements and performing account reconciliations

- Assisting with internal and external audit requests, as well as other special projects
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related degree
