About the role

  • Operating from Calgary, Mississauga, Toronto, and San Antonio, they provide our patients with an integrated, end-to-end healthcare experience.
  • The city of Mississauga is also homeland to many global Indigenous Peoples.
  • Reporting to our Pharmacy Manager, the Pharmacy Assistant will be responsible for preparing, filling, dispensing and shipping prescription medications to our patients.

  • Collaborating with the Affirming Care team and telehealth partners
  • Make an impact, every single day. We're providing compassionate, affirming care to many people who have never received the proper support before.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of pharmacy experience
  • Knowledge and efficiency of all aspects of pharmacy software (data entry, billing, report generating, troubleshooting)
  • Experience performing a variety of tasks daily in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to work different shifts including evenings and weekends

Nice to have

  • The ability to communicate with patients in Spanish, Portuguese, or Mandarin, both written and verbally

Compensation

  • $50,000 - $56,000 CAD/year (equivalent to $24.04
  • 26.92 per hour)

  • Location & Hours of Operation: Ability to commute to 2-2624 Dunwin Drive, Mississauga, ON.
  • We're looking for someone with the flexibility to work variable shifts during our operating hours: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 7:00pm and Weekends from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
