About the role

  • Our Advanced Industries Practice is seeking an Account Executive to join our team!
  • Prior Criminal history will only be considered after a conditional job offer is made and accepted.
  • Applicants will have the opportunity to explain the circumstances surrounding any convictions, provide mitigating evidence, or challenge the accuracy of the background report.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains overall responsibility for assigned book of business for all aspects of IMA's program design, ongoing service plan, and alignment of internal and external insurance services.
  • Supports in winning new business through development of insurance program for new accounts.
  • Develops clients' 1- to 3-year risk management insurance plan objectives.
  • Maintains intimate knowledge of clients' business operations, strategies, and needs throughout the year in order to structure a strong, long-term partnership with assigned clients.
  • Develops and maintains carrier relationships.
  • Manages a book of business that is typically 20 to 30 clients with approximate revenue of $1.7 Million - $2.1 Million.

Skills

  • 7+ years' experience in insurance or related industry based on the assigned book of business.
  • Ability to think strategically based on client's priorities and marketplace cycle.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Experience leading and developing people.
  • Experience working within Applied Epic preferred.
  • Experience with MS Office products required (specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • Travel required (up to 40% based on assigned book of business).
  • Work toward strengthening IMA brand as subject matter expert (speaking at conferences, white papers, carrier relationships, etc.).
  • Holds state property & casualty insurance license.
  • Holds general insurance designation preferred.
  • Holds formal specialty designation (ARM, CPCU, Industry specific designation, etc.) preferred.

Compensation

  • $125,000 - $170,000 USD
