About the role
- Our Advanced Industries Practice is seeking an Account Executive to join our team!
- Prior Criminal history will only be considered after a conditional job offer is made and accepted.
- Applicants will have the opportunity to explain the circumstances surrounding any convictions, provide mitigating evidence, or challenge the accuracy of the background report.
Responsibilities
- Maintains overall responsibility for assigned book of business for all aspects of IMA's program design, ongoing service plan, and alignment of internal and external insurance services.
- Supports in winning new business through development of insurance program for new accounts.
- Develops clients' 1- to 3-year risk management insurance plan objectives.
- Maintains intimate knowledge of clients' business operations, strategies, and needs throughout the year in order to structure a strong, long-term partnership with assigned clients.
- Develops and maintains carrier relationships.
- Manages a book of business that is typically 20 to 30 clients with approximate revenue of $1.7 Million - $2.1 Million.
- We provide support systems and resources that enable each of our associates to focus on what they do best.

Skills
- 7+ years' experience in insurance or related industry based on the assigned book of business.
- Ability to think strategically based on client's priorities and marketplace cycle.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Experience leading and developing people.
- Experience working within Applied Epic preferred.
- Experience with MS Office products required (specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel).
- Travel required (up to 40% based on assigned book of business).
- Work toward strengthening IMA brand as subject matter expert (speaking at conferences, white papers, carrier relationships, etc.).
- Holds state property & casualty insurance license.
- Holds general insurance designation preferred.
- Holds formal specialty designation (ARM, CPCU, Industry specific designation, etc.) preferred.
Compensation
- $125,000 - $170,000 USD
