About the role

In addition, the center will feature outdoor classrooms that incorporate environmental education and play-based learning.
Help carry out daily routines, including feeding, diapering, toileting, napping, indoor and outdoor play, transitions, and small group activities.
Assist with cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining a safe and healthy classroom environment.

Support the daily care and supervision of infants and toddlers in a safe, nurturing, clean, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment.
Build warm, responsive relationships with children and support their individual needs in a caring and respectful way.
Support teachers with child observations, classroom documentation, attendance, meal counts, and other assigned records as needed.
Partner with families in a respectful and professional way and help create a welcoming environment for children and families.
Work collaboratively with teaching team members, center leadership, and support staff to ensure smooth classroom operations and continuity of care.
Maintain confidentiality of children, families, and staff while promoting the mission and philosophy of the organization.

A minimum of 6 ECE units is preferred.
Infant/Toddler units are also preferred for candidates supporting an infant/toddler classroom.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience working with infants and toddlers in a licensed early childhood program is preferred.
Knowledge of or ability to learn and follow Title 5, Title 22, and agency policies and procedures.
Immunization records that comply with Senate Bill 792, including measles, pertussis, and influenza requirements.
Required to be a mandated child abuse reporter.
Bilingual skills are a plus.
