About the role

  • SingerLewak is a Top 100 accounting and consulting firm primarily operating in the western region.
  • Provide the Firm's full range of services on a fee basis to designated clients, in a manner consistent with the best interest of the specific client and the Firm's philosophy.
  • Recruits or assigns individual to recruit students at selected colleges and universities. - Interviews and oversees extending initial offers of employment to potential tax staff employees.

Requirements

  • Generally, requires ten (10) to fifteen (15) years of experience in public accounting, demonstrating a proven progression in complexity, scope, and number of engagements managed.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, or Master's degree in accounting.
  • A current and valid CPA's license is required.
  • Maintains required technical competence through professional literature, financial publications, and attendance at professional development seminars.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of tax laws, regulations, in both audit and tax.
  • Proficiency in use of computer, tax research, and financials, and tax
  • Proficiency in use of computers, computer accounting software, and tax software
  • Demonstrates ability to bring in new business to a CPA Firm.
  • Ability to organize work and projects, prioritize and meet deadlines, and to complete
  • Ability to reason and effectively multi-task.

Compensation

  • Reviews and evaluates accounting staff personnel for purposes of promotion and salary adjustment.
