Responsibilities
- Partner with business and industry leaders to develop and implement employment and talent strategies aligned with workforce and business needs.
- Provide leadership, direction, training, and ongoing support to business services staff to ensure successful delivery of workforce services and project outcomes.
- Collaborate with the Project Director to identify system, process, and operational improvements that strengthen organizational capacity and service delivery.
- Develop an understanding of key business initiatives, performance measures, and budget resources to support effective implementation and delivery of services.
- Serve as a public‑facing representative of the program, including presenting to employers, partners, and executive‑level stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Experience engaging employers, partners, or senior/executive‑level stakeholders.
- Local travel is an essential function of the role and includes attending employer meetings, events, off‑site engagements, and partner activities.
- Other duties may be assigned as necessary to support operational needs and program objectives.
Requirements
- Participate in workgroups and manage special projects or assignments as required.
- Non‑traditional hours are required and may include early mornings, evenings, or event‑based schedules.
- A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel as needed without restriction within the service area are required.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in business, workforce development, human resources, public administration, or a related field required
- Master's degree preferred.
- Working knowledge of workforce programs, compliance requirements, or performance‑based contracts preferred.
Compensation
- Starting Salary: $36.06 per hour, with an annual salary range of $75,000-$85,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
