About the role

We're looking for a Proposal Engineer who can handle the technical side of complex engineering proposals from start to finish.
This role sits at the intersection of engineering, project execution, and business development.
We're looking for someone who can connect the dots across disciplines, ask the right questions, and turn complexity into a solid, workable plan.

You'll work closely with Proposal Coordinators, Project Managers, and Engineering Leads, and also be entrusted to run with things on your own.

Education & Experience o Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation required, with experience in Western Canada. o 15+ years of experience in engineering consulting environments is mandatory. o Strong preference for consulting engineering experience. o Demonstrated experience supporting: o Engineering estimates. o Project execution planning. o Multi-disciplinary engineering scopes. o Proposal development for EPC or project delivery organizations. o Broad engineering background with exposure to multiple disciplines. o Strong understanding of engineering deliverables, drawing packages, and execution risk. o Ability to translate complex technical scope into concise, compelling proposal content. o Comfortable working independently and making sound technical decisions under proposal timelines.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities o Highly independent and self-directed, with a strong ownership mentality. o Exceptional ability to analyze scope and identify execution risks early. o Clear, structured communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences. o Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. o Collaborative yet decisive
pragmatic and execution focused.
