Nice to have
- Inspect incoming shipments of drone components, electronic assemblies, mechanical parts, and raw materials against purchase orders, drawings, and specifications.
- Verify quantity, part numbers, lot numbers, and documentation (Certificates of Conformance, test reports, country of origin) for each shipment.
- Identify, tag, and quarantine nonconforming material
- initiate and track nonconformance reports (NCRs).
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to incoming quality and supplier performance.
- What You'll Bring
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate's degree or technical certification in Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
Skills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and bill of materials (BOMs).
- Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or IPC-A-610.
- Experience with quality management systems (QMS) for documentation and NCR tracking.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the electronics, aerospace, defense, or consumer technology industries.
- Familiarity with FPV drones, RC systems, or related electronics hardware.
- Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) handling procedures.
- Experience with First Article Inspection (FAI) processes.
- ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or equivalent certification.
- Experience working with domestic and international suppliers.
