About the role
- We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design, integration, and development of advanced air vehicle platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for advanced air vehicle programs.
- Create and maintain detailed CAD models and engineering drawings.
- Evaluate manufacturing methods and ensure designs are optimized for production.
- Perform engineering analyses to support system performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the design, integration, testing, and production lifecycle.
- Participate in design reviews, technical trade studies, and engineering decision-making.
- Prepare technical documentation, engineering reports, and design specifications.
- In this role, you will be responsible for designing mechanical systems, integrating electrical and mechanical subsystems, and collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver innovative aerospace solutions.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience supporting advanced air vehicle programs.
- Experience integrating electrical and mechanical subsystems into aerospace platforms.
- Experience designing mechanical parts using CAD software.
- TBD -- based on skills and experience Important Screening Requirements Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder).
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance.
- Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including: Machining Sheet Metal Fabrication Composite Manufacturing 3D Printing Injection Molding Composite Lamination Strong foundation in engineering fundamentals and mechanical system design.

Nice to have
- Experience using Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
- Experience evaluating vendor performance data and supporting supplier integration.
- Competency in engineering analysis, including structural, thermal, and electrical analysis.
- Active U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance.
