About the role
- Position Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Imaging Department provides patient-centered nursing care before, during, and after diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- This role is essential in ensuring patient safety, procedural efficiency, and high-quality outcomes across a variety of imaging services.

Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain IV access; assist with or perform PICC line placement as appropriate
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Requirements
- Basic Life Support (CPR). required within one (1) month of hire
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). required within orientation period
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). required within orientation period
Nice to have
- Imaging, procedural, or outpatient nursing experience preferred
- cardiac stress testing experience is a plus

- Employment Requirements
Compensation
- Commensurate with experience
- Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures
- Prepare and educate patients for procedures, including cardiac stress testing and biopsies
- Assist physicians and radiology staff with procedures such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, and biopsies
- Monitor patient condition before, during, and after procedures, responding promptly to changes
- Administer medications, including IV contrast, in accordance with established protocols
