About the role
- The Exercise Specialist works collaboratively with a registered nurse in the daily coordination and delivery of cardiovascular rehabilitation services.
- The Exercise Specialist will follow up on patient referrals from health care facilities to admit new patients to the program and schedule patient follow up appointments.
- As a member of the interdisciplinary care team, the Exercise Specialist coordinates patient care with the other members to assure the safe and accurate delivery of care.

Requirements
- Additional certifications are required as follows: BLS within 30 days of employment, ACLS within one year of employment.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science required.
- 2-3 years of cardiac patient care experience with strong knowledge of cardiac rhythms preferred.
