About the role

  • As a Product Strategist, you will be responsible for product development and product management of a subset of U.S. funds (Mutual Funds, ETFs) and their non-registered funds (CITs), including oversight of the lifecycle and viability of the funds.

Responsibilities

  • Define, develop and deliver products to support Transamerica Asset Management's strategy and product management function.
  • Develop new U.S. funds, including product design, investment vehicle(s), and implementation.
  • Create and deliver presentations to senior management and peers on R&D research outcomes
  • Support with complex, strategic projects, including commercial, regulatory, and governance.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing support, including key messaging and promotion to support sales efforts, asset retention, and drive awareness.
  • Collaborate with training team on product training calls and materials.
  • Create and deliver presentations to senior management and peers on R&D research outcomes; highlight strategic recommendations for new products, enhancements, etc. Promote overall strategy and day-to-day tactics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a business related field or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a product management/product development role.
  • Experience in a sales-driven, multi-channel, distribution environment.
  • Knowledge of structuring and the operation of: M utual F unds, ETFs, SMAs, and CITs in U.S. jurisdictions.
  • Experience using industry databases (e.g. Morningstar, eVestment, Simfund, Lipper, Bloomberg).
