About the role

  • You will facilitate communication, ensure proper training is in place, and plan and direct the work of team members.

Responsibilities

  • Model and drive the need for customer-focused team members while moving product to the next stage in the value stream process.
  • Apply lean principles to support the team and complete follow-up items from Kaizen events to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collect current and accurate information on the managing for daily improvement (MDI) board to drive completion of counter measures and communicate with team members.
  • Ability to lead others in alignment with the Vermeer characteristics and behaviors.
  • Ability to perform problem solving techniques and implement counter measures.

Requirements

  • Ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to assess, evaluate, and carry out appropriate action in multiple situations.
  • Occasionally (up to 15 degree flex for up to 2 minutes)
  • Bending - Neck: Occasionally (up to 15 degree flex for up to 2 minutes)

Nice to have

  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish, preferred.
