About the role

  • North Park University, a member of the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW), is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Women's Basketball Coach.
  • This twelve-month, full-time position is responsible for assisting the head coach with all phases of an NCAA Division III basketball program including recruitment, retention, coaching, scheduling, team travel, and budgeting.
  • Located for over 125 years on the land of the Miami and Potawatomi tribes in what is today Chicago's northside, NPU has recently been designated a Hispanic Serving Institution and is committed to serving diverse populations.

Responsibilities

  • Build and sustain positive relationships with student-athletes, parents, alumni, faculty, staff, and the campus community.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree is required.
  • Coaching experience and extensive knowledge of the sport of basketball at the intercollegiate level are required.
  • Applicants must be able to work an untraditional work schedule (i.e. frequent nights and weekends).
  • A valid driver's license is required.

Compensation

  • $48,000 - $52,000
