About the role
- Charger Logistics Inc. is an asset-based, cross-border carrier operating across the US, Canada, and Mexico.
- You'll be the first point of contact for drivers considering a career with Charger, and often the relationship they trust most throughout their time with us.
- This is a high-volume, fast-paced role for someone who thrives on connecting with people and closing out hires.
Responsibilities
- As a Driver Recruiter, you'll own the full recruitment cycle for CDL drivers - from sourcing and screening through onboarding.
Nice to have
- Screen candidates:
- 3 to 5 years in safety & training (transportation industry preferred) Previous experience in driver training, recruitment and safety & compliance is an asset.
- Experience hiring drivers out of different states within the US is a must.
- Safety driven with expertise in HOS, DOT regulations, and driver welfare At least three years of truck driving experience is considered an asset.
- Must have solid understanding of the trucking industry.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
