About the role

  • The Localization Post Producer is responsible for overseeing the timeline and workflow of their project team to ensure the successful delivery of localization projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve project challenges as well as anticipate and mitigate risks related to budget, scope, and timeline.
  • Possesses comprehensive expertise in localization and post production to act as a key member and voice of a project.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Post Producer lead on localization projects, involving many aspects of post production.
  • Lead project team from kick off to delivery, delegate team responsibilities, and manage project feedback.
  • Manage voiceover talent casting, booking, and session coordination. Oversee recording sessions to ensure quality standards, proper direction of talent, and adherence to project specifications.
  • Maintain and enforce production and localization process guidelines, templates and workflows.
  • Act as lead Producer and trusted advisor to each project with regards to Account and Client communications
  • Collaborate with the internal IT department on production stability, software and hardware needs.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in a post production environment
  • 2+ years in a Post Producer role
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Ability to think critically and progressively to find creative solutions for any problem
  • When additional team support is required, provide insights to length, project budget impacts and talent needs to Senior Producer/EP.
  • Deep understanding of the post production process
  • Competent understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for complex project tracking
  • Excellent time management skills and verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates professionalism and maintains composure under pressure
  • Organized and works well under tight and changing deadlines
  • Has led a project team of over 5 people
  • Efficient problem solver in a studio environment
  • This position is in the office 3 days a week.
  • US Pay Range
  • $65,000 - $85,000 USD
