About the role
- The Localization Post Producer is responsible for overseeing the timeline and workflow of their project team to ensure the successful delivery of localization projects.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve project challenges as well as anticipate and mitigate risks related to budget, scope, and timeline.
- Possesses comprehensive expertise in localization and post production to act as a key member and voice of a project.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Post Producer lead on localization projects, involving many aspects of post production.
- Lead project team from kick off to delivery, delegate team responsibilities, and manage project feedback.
- Manage voiceover talent casting, booking, and session coordination. Oversee recording sessions to ensure quality standards, proper direction of talent, and adherence to project specifications.
- Maintain and enforce production and localization process guidelines, templates and workflows.
- Act as lead Producer and trusted advisor to each project with regards to Account and Client communications
- Collaborate with the internal IT department on production stability, software and hardware needs.
Requirements
- 2+ years in a post production environment
- 2+ years in a Post Producer role
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud
- Ability to think critically and progressively to find creative solutions for any problem
- When additional team support is required, provide insights to length, project budget impacts and talent needs to Senior Producer/EP.
- Deep understanding of the post production process
- Competent understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for complex project tracking
- Excellent time management skills and verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrates professionalism and maintains composure under pressure
- Organized and works well under tight and changing deadlines
- Has led a project team of over 5 people
- Efficient problem solver in a studio environment
- This position is in the office 3 days a week.
- US Pay Range
- $65,000 - $85,000 USD
