About the role
- In this position, you use a variety of process improvement tactics, including lean manufacturing, Six Sigma methodology, and Kaizen.
- Your job is to collect data and analyze current operating procedures to determine which continuous improvement process technique is the best for our situation.
Responsibilities
- Identifies and drives root cause corrective action for nonconformance and failure investigations including customer, supplier, and internal issues.
- Develops and monitors quality metrics to assess process performance and QMS effectiveness.
- Plans and manages internal audits and supports external certification, customer, and regulatory audits.
- Plans, coordinates, and leads employee development training in quality methodologies.
- Works closely with process owners to drive a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Support the development and implementation of performance metrics.
- Supports all aspects of the quality management system.
Requirements
- 8+ years relevant work experience.
- Experience with continuous quality improvement activities in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with AS9100 or ISO9001 Quality Management Systems compliance.
- Experience with Value Stream Mapping.
