About the role

We're looking for an extremely entrepreneurial operator.
You're going to be our first General Manager outside of Europe, so this is not going to be a role where you'll follow some playbook to establish a new market: you're going to figure out and write the playbook yourself, the hard and complicated way.
Monumental is unique in that we're completely vertically-integrated.

Manage our fleet of robots and, with the rest of the HQ team, figure out how to manage a remote fleet across the Atlantic.
It's still the early days of building the company, and this is a chance to make an outsized impact on a problem that matters.

Minimum of 6 years of experience in a chaotic, entrepreneurial, high-growth, unstructured environment.
A strong bias-to-action and getting-shit-done mentality with the required tenacity and speed.
You have proven experience doing sales, pricing, negotiations, and account management.
You have experience hiring and managing a team and you understand the importance of filtering for and instilling the right culture.
Stand up the required legal structure for us to operate and scale in the US.

We expect this role to have a steep learning curve whatever your background, and this role might in practice feel like a completely new job every 3-6 months.

What we're looking for
Our mission is to make construction software-defined and autonomous - a future where beautiful, bespoke buildings go up in a single day, with minimal labour.
You'll be part of our founding US team - pilots are on the way as we expand into the market, with facilities to follow.

To get you started, we'll cover travel and accommodation for a few weeks of onboarding at Monumental HQ, in the city centre of Amsterdam - a beautiful facility with an in-house workshop and robot testing floor.
