About the role
- Evidence of an active research program in ecology or a related discipline that engages undergraduate and graduate students.
- Duties/Expectations: The Department of Biology at Brigham Young University invites applications for a continuing faculty status (CFS) position in Field and Quantitative Ecology.
Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will establish and maintain an externally visible research program that involves undergraduate and graduate students in meaningful, mentored research experiences.
Requirements
- All new employees who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be required to hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend.
- All faculty are required to abide by the university's Honor Code and Dress & Grooming Standards.
- The required degree must be completed by the start date.
- Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in ecology, organismal biology, and/or field biology.
- Experience with field-based, lab-based, or applied ecological research and teaching is expected.
