About the role

  • We're looking for a Manufacturing Systems Analyst who can bridge the gap between business and technology.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the production planning system (PlantStar or similar MRP platform), ensuring data integrity and supporting schedulers and planners on daily operations
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports (SQL, Excel, Power BI) to support decision-making across manufacturing, planning, and management
  • Troubleshoot MRP-related issues and collaborate with IT on system enhancements, testing, and upgrades
  • Document processes, drive process improvements, and act as a change agent to optimize workflows and system usage
  • Train and support schedulers and planners on system best practices
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality) to align system strategy with business goals

Requirements

  • Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Information Systems, or related field)
  • Strong experience with MRP/ERP systems in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience with production scheduling and process optimization

Nice to have

  • Experience with PlantStar, IQMS, or similar manufacturing planning software
  • Knowledge of injection molding processes (we'll teach this if you're strong on MRP and scheduling)
  • Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement (Six Sigma) background
  • Training and mentoring abilities
