About the role

  • SSC Advisors, Inc. and SSC CPAs P.A. are seeking a talented and dedicated Tax & Accounting Associate to join our team.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with tax preparation and compliance, maintaining accurate tax records, and conducting research on tax laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with other team members to identify tax planning opportunities and provide strategic advice to our clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field - CPA certification or working towards certification.
  • 2+ years of experience in tax preparation and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
