Responsibilities

  • Lead setup, prove-out, and launch activities for complex aerospace and defense components Build and qualify advanced workholding, fixturing, tooling, and gaging strategies Support first article builds and new product introductions Optimize tooling, offsets, probing, and machining processes to achieve repeatable production performance Perform first-piece and in-process inspection using precision metrology equipment and CMM data Collaborate closely with programmers and manufacturing engineers on process development and troubleshooting Support automation initiatives including probing systems, pallet systems, robotic integration, and lights-out manufacturing Document and transfer proven processes to production teams Mentor machinists and operators while supporting continuous improvement initiatives
