About the role

  • We seek qualified instructors to teach face-to-face lecture and laboratory courses during the daytime hours in introductory College Physics (algebra based) and University Physics (calculus-based) course sequences.
  • This is for the Fall semester with potential to teach in the Spring 2027 and summer 2027 as well.
  • include creating and maintaining a safe environment for instruction and learning in a laboratory setting.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Physics or a related field, from a regionally accredited institution
  • Must have 18 graduate credit hours in related area.
  • Required Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Finalists will be required to provide three current, original letters of recommendation to the Search Committee Chair.
  • Before issuing a letter of appointment, official transcripts (hard copy or verified e-copy) must be received directly from each degree-granting institution.
  • Please ensure that all required documents are uploaded before applying.

Nice to have

  • Experience teaching at the college level
  • Experience working with all students from different backgrounds and settings
  • Completed Ph.D. in Physics or related field.

  • Strong self-discipline and ability to work independently.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
