About the role
- Vantor is forging the new frontier of spatial intelligence, helping decision makers and operators navigate what's happening now and shape what's coming next.
- Export Control/ITAR: Certain roles may be subject to U.S. export control laws, requiring U.S. person status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
- This position is allowed to work remotely two days per week and in the office Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Responsibilities
- Software design and development of operational code of new features and defect repairs
- Develop automated unit, functional, and integration tests
- Support deadlines and communicate issues/results
- For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Minimum 5 years software development of complex software systems
- Expertise with Python for webservices ( django ) and scripting
- Expertise in Linux ( Ubuntu, RHEL, CENTOS/AL3 )
- Expertise with API concepts like REST/JSON/YAML
- Experience with test automation languages/frameworks: Cucumber, Gherkin, Behave
- Computer Science or Engineering degree or equivalent experience
Nice to have
- Experience with build and deploy technologies like K8S, docker, jenkins, hel m, terraform
- Experience with RabbitMQ/PostgreSQL/Redis/Elasticsearch
- Expertise with Ruby and GO programing languages
- Experience with CI/CD
- Experience with Aerospace and/or Satellite Ground Systems
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment
- Experience with operational support of a complex microservice based system
Compensation
- To support pay transparency, Vantor includes salary ranges in all U.S. job postings.
- Starting pay for this role will fall within the listed range and will be based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, location, and market conditions.
- Candidates who meet the minimum requirements for the role should not expect to receive compensation at the top of the range.
- The listed range reflects the expected pay for this position, and final offers will be determined based on each candidate's experience, expertise, and alignment with the role.
- The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $102,000.00 - $136,000.00 - $149,600.00 annually.
