About the role
- Clinician I provides and conducts trauma-informed groups using trauma-informed curricula; structured and gender-responsive trauma-informed groups for juvenile offender projects. and work collaboratively with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR), DRP, CCHS, and DAI institution staff.
Responsibilities
- Deliver services to the participants by conducting group and/or individual sessions.
- Evaluate and document the progress of participants assigned to their groups. Works individually with each participant to develop and implement a treatment/action plan.
- Maintains supervision, including the development of the treatment plan, review of client's files, and initial and or ongoing client assessments.
- Document the delivery of services in ARMS.
- All Clinicians shall be licensed by the Board of Behavioral Sciences and maintain a current and active license, which is in good standing without current disciplinary action with their respective licensing board.
- Ability to develop a treatment alliance with participants. Demonstrate ethical behavior in order to maintain professional standards and safeguard the participant.
Requirements
- Operational knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Access.
- Ability to provide genuine warmth, empathy, and honest sensitivity to program participants to facilitate positive change.
- Must be willing to work a daily shift from 12 pm-8:30 pm.
