About the role

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Fullstack Developer with a strong backend focus to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic using PHP.
  • Implement and troubleshoot clustering, replication, and high-availability database scenarios.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers and engineers to build responsive interfaces.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architectural planning.
  • Our client delivers cybersecurity-first managed IT services and technology solutions that keep businesses secure, stable, and productive.

Requirements

  • Strong PHP expertise, including working knowledge of older PHP versions (important for existing CTMS systems)
  • Proficiency with JavaScript for frontend integration tasks
  • Build and optimize database schemas, queries, and stored procedures with MySQL (deep experience required).
  • Advanced MySQL experience
  • Cluster / high-availability database deployment experience
  • Experience building secure, fault-tolerant backend systems
  • Comfortable in a remote, collaborative environment

Nice to have

  • Experience with modern PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, etc.)
  • Familiarity with caching, search, message queues
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration methods
  • Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing
  • Exposure to managed IT or cybersecurity products/platforms

Compensation

  • Up to $125,000 Base + Benefits
  • Competitive base salary - up to $125,000
