About the role
- Monitors and/or completes audits of activities of a more basic nature within an assigned area of the Bank to ensure adherence to internal policies, processes and external regulations.
- Communicates findings to appropriate parties to mitigate recurring issues of the same nature.
- Monitor and/or complete audits of activities of a more basic nature within an assigned area of the Bank to ensure adherence to established internal policies and processes and external regulations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain records of discovered deficiencies to support reporting and trend analyses of activities.
- Develop and maintain a current knowledge of the policies, processes and regulations affecting monitoring and/or auditing activities to ensure validity of analyses and findings.
- Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
- Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
Requirements
- Prior experience with pertinent spreadsheet, word processing, database and presentation software
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree
- Prior experience providing written or verbal feedback

- Proven analytical skills
- Proven verbal and written communication skills
Compensation
- The pay range for this position is $20.55 - $34.25 Hourly (USD).
