About the role
- Dynamis is seeking a Deputy Project Manager to support the Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) implementation of the National Preparedness System (NPS) and National Incident Management System (NIMS).The DPM will assist the PM in providing oversight of a multidisciplinary team tasked with developing materials to support NIMS implementation,
- developing and producing new or updated NIMS resource typing documents, supporting the development of the National Qualification System (NQS), and developing and implementing a strategy to collect and analyze preparedness data across FEMA's National Integration Center's (NIC) program areas.
Responsibilities
- Assist the PM with oversight of a team of subject matter experts (SMEs), analysts, and support staff in supporting implementation of NIMS and NQS; development of NQS resource typing documents; NIC communications; data collection, analysis, and visualization; workshops, meetings, and training support; and technical writing and editing.
- Manage financial and other business metrics necessary to effectively execute the contract, such as cost controls and monthly reporting.
- Oversee staffing and performance, Dynamis project management tasks, and other administrative support requirements.
