About the role

The Special Police Officer is responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment at Capital One Arena (COA) and MedStar Health Performance Center (MHPC) for patrons and employees by patrolling assigned areas and monitoring activities.
Are you an experienced security or law enforcement officer who is hardworking and passionate about safety?!

Supervise and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.

High School diploma or GED required.
2+ years of security, law enforcement, military, or life safety experience.
Ability to submit an application for a DC Special Police Officer License within 5 days of employment.
Ability to comfortably work in a variety of environments and conditions including around loud noises, strobe lights, heat, cold, rain, wind, and dust.
