About the role
- Under the direct supervision of the Health Services Administrator (HSA) and Director of Nursing (DON), the Registered Nurse is responsible for providing direct and indirect nursing care within the scope of the State Board of Nursing Practice.
Responsibilities
- Maintain clear lines of communication throughout issue resolution processes.
- Must hold and maintain a current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of employment, as well as a valid CPR certification.
Requirements
- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force and push, pull, or move objects, including assisting with movement of the human body.
- Adhere to and enforce all safety and security policies and procedures and participate in required emergency drills.

Benefits
- Candidates must have a minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
- Correctional healthcare experience is preferred.
