Responsibilities

  • Seek opportunities for continuous improvement and collaborate with clinical and operational leadership on implementation of Quality Improvement (QI) initiatives.
  • Collaborate with supply chain team to ensure appropriate medication and supplies are available for clinic operations.
  • The Clinical Technologist Lead Nurse is responsible for the competency and appropriateness of services provided by Clinical Technologists within an assigned market.
  • They will ensure Clinical Technologists perform high-quality, team-based patient care for both clinical and administrative functions.
  • Drive efficient patient flow; use eCW to update patient status throughout visit, promptly rooms patients, perform patient verification process, obtain and documents vital signs, take patient photos, and turn over patient rooms.

Requirements

  • Analytical thinking skills and the ability to exercise sound judgement when making decisions.
  • For internal candidates, employment status must be in good standing
  • The Clinical Technologist Lead must be proficient in all the roles and responsibilities of a Clinical Technologist to be considered for this role.
  • Previous experience as a Clinical Lead strongly preferred.
  • Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider through American Heart Association.
  • Have mastery of standard operating procedures related to: Infection control practices, sterile technique, steam sterilizers (autoclaves), supply management, medication safety and preparation, patient and team safety initiatives and documentation electronic medical record.
  • Expert computer skills and electronic medical records documentation.
  • Ability to manage activities of the team and motivate others in a team environment.
  • Dependable
  • able to meet reliable attendance and punctuality standards.
  • no recent disciplinary actions.

Nice to have

  • Current State or Multi-State Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a nurse in a patient care setting
  • Must have the ability to travel to Memorial, Brenham and The Woodlands.

Compensation

  • Work in conjunction with Facility Administrator and Clinical Program Manger on Clinical Technologists feedback sessions and annual reviews.
