About the role
- Berkeley Ironworks is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic coach to work with our ------------- All coaching shifts occur between 3:45 PM and 7:30 PM.
- The ideal candidate will bring a strong climbing background, a passion for coaching youth, and a creative approach to instruction.
- This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the next generation of climbers in a supportive and engaging environment.
Responsibilities
- Coach the Dev Team and/or Camp and Club, focusing on bouldering, top rope, and lead climbing.
- Develop and lead strength training programs tailored to the needs of youth climbers, emphasizing injury prevention and appropriate strength gains.
- Collaborate with other coaches to design and implement high-quality training programs for Team Touchstone.
Requirements
- Coaching Skills: Ability to explain climbing techniques clearly and effectively to youth athletes.
- Must be available to coach on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM, and Fridays from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
- Experience in competitive climbing is desirable, but not required.

- Competition Climbing Experience: Experience in competitive climbing is desirable, but not required.
