About the role

Responsibilities
- Support budget preparation, cost tracking, and basic financial reporting by monitoring cost codes, change impacts, and invoice status.
- Communicate with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain alignment on project priorities and support smooth project execution.
- Support materials purchasing by obtaining quotes, preparing purchase orders, tracking approvals, confirming lead times, and reconciling packing slips with delivered materials.
- Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, submittals, permits, site instructions, meeting minutes, and other project records, ensuring timely distribution and proper filing.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience with a general contractor, in building construction, construction site management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of cost estimating and quantity takeoffs.
- Experience with Microsoft Project scheduling software is considered an asset.
- Coordinate site staffing as required, including sourcing and hiring general labor or temporary workers, arranging onboarding and site orientation, and confirming daily manpower needs with the foreman or superintendent.

- General Contractor: 2 years (required)
