About the role

  • We are seeking a polished, detail-oriented, and hospitality-driven Server to join the Moss New York team with Compass Group.
  • Servers play a vital role in delivering a refined and memorable dining experience through attentive service, strong menu knowledge, and elevated guest engagement.
  • This role is essential to maintaining a seamless flow of service, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed, cared for, and supported from the moment they arrive through the completion of their meal.

Nice to have

  • Minimum of 2+ years serving experience in a high-volume, service-driven restaurant environment
  • upscale or chef-driven concepts preferred.
  • Working knowledge of classic cocktails, foundational wine varietals, and beer styles
  • fine-dining or craft beverage experience a plus.

Compensation

  • The hourly wage for this position is $15.00 per hour with tips.
  • Training wage during the orientation period is $17.00 per hour.
  • This is a non-exempt, hourly position. In accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), you are eligible for overtime pay at one and a half times your regular rate for all hours worked over 40 in a single workweek.
