Responsibilities

  • Intellectual Property Portfolio Ownership: Lead the development, enforcement, and growth of GTC's enterprise-wide IP strategy.
  • Corporate Governance & Entity Upkeep: Maintain accurate corporate documentation for all GTC legal entities. Update global minute books, draft board resolutions, compile shareholder documents, and draft documentation for inter-company transactions.

  • Regulatory Alignment & Audit Support: Monitor global regulatory updates to safeguard corporate compliance across travel industry regulations, consumer protection rules, privacy laws, and international advertising frameworks.

Requirements

  • Maintain regulatory compliance with the company's required licenses and facilitate reporting obligations.
  • Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) or Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a recognized institution, paired with active membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario (or another Canadian provincial bar).
  • Credentials: Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) or Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a recognized institution, paired with active membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario (or another Canadian provincial bar).

Nice to have

  • 1 to 4 years of progressive corporate and commercial law experience, ideally within a corporate in-house setting or a business law practice group.
