Provide legal support for US based evidence‑generation and research initiatives, including investigator‑initiated studies, collaborative research projects, advisory and insights programs, and HEOR studies, ensuring adherence to regulatory, ethical, and internal governance requirements.

10+ years of industry and/or law firm experience providing legal counsel relating to biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or therapeutic products, preferably including in‑house experience.
Ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, evolving regulatory environment with high accountability and emotional intelligence.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex legal issues into practical business guidance.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable addressing a wide range of legal matters.
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to balance risk management with business enablement.
Willingness to travel periodically within the United States.
HIV and/or virology experience is preferred but not required.

$243,100.00 - $314,600.00.
Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
These considerations mean actual compensation will vary.
This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
