About the role

Responsibilities
- Meet individually with advisees and maintain accurate advising records.
- Maintain transfer plans with community colleges.
- Conduct proactive outreach to support student success, retention, and engagement, and connect students with appropriate campus resources.
- Refer students to appropriate campus resources, including academic support services, counseling services, financial aid, and other student support programs.
- Collaborate with college staff, departmental faculty, and the AESHM advising team to develop and implement recruitment and outreach plans.
- Coordinate and lead orientation programs for new students and families.
- Advise student organizations and support student leadership development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience
- Provide guidance on degree requirements, course planning, academic policies, and university procedures.
Nice to have
- Experience teaching, facilitating workshops, or delivering presentations, including public speaking to student or professional audiences.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
