About the role

As a Carpenter, you will be working with leading experts in Mass Timber and tall wood construction.
With ongoing mentoring and hands-on experience, your existing skillset as a carpenter will allow you to quickly progress on our unique projects with new materials and processes.
This is a traveling role - requires working throughout Canada and potentially the USA

The ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced, deadline driven environment.
The ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
The ability to anticipate problems and solve proactively.
A high degree of professionalism and maturity.
Strong time management skills, particularly the ability to prioritize a multitude of tasks.

Performing all on-site carpentry tasks, such as mass timber work, light wood framing, back-framing, and layout.
Operating carpentry and general construction hand tools, power tools, nail guns, portable saws, etc.
Participating in all safety requirements on projects and taking part in daily job hazard assessments and weekly toolbox safety meetings.
Participating in weekly production meetings.
Rigging and crane works (after training and certification).
Operating telehandlers and manlifts (after training and certification).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
