About the role
- As a Mid-Level Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), you will contribute directly to the development and delivery of Army Vantage capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Build and deliver front-end analytical dashboard views using Foundry's Workshop/Slate application layer under guidance from senior engineers
- Support CI/CD pipeline configuration tasks, including build scripts, automated tests, and environment promotion workflows
- Implement metric definitions and data transformations aligned to the Foundry Ontology to ensure consistent data interpretation across dashboards
- Identify integration issues, surface blockers early, and collaborate with senior engineers to resolve them
- Support defect resolution and incremental enhancements to maintain stable operations
- Ability to independently build features, test them, and deliver production-ready functionality

- We design, develop, and deploy solutions to solve mission-critical problems.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry, including pipelines, Workshop/Slate, and Ontology
- 3+ years of software engineering experience
- Experience with Python, TypeScript, or Java in cloud-based data platforms
- Experience working in government, defense, or classified environments
- Comfortable working in small, fast-moving technical teams
