About the role

As a Mid-Level Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), you will contribute directly to the development and delivery of Army Vantage capabilities.

Build and deliver front-end analytical dashboard views using Foundry's Workshop/Slate application layer under guidance from senior engineers
Support CI/CD pipeline configuration tasks, including build scripts, automated tests, and environment promotion workflows
Implement metric definitions and data transformations aligned to the Foundry Ontology to ensure consistent data interpretation across dashboards
Identify integration issues, surface blockers early, and collaborate with senior engineers to resolve them
Support defect resolution and incremental enhancements to maintain stable operations
Ability to independently build features, test them, and deliver production-ready functionality

Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry, including pipelines, Workshop/Slate, and Ontology
3+ years of software engineering experience
Experience with Python, TypeScript, or Java in cloud-based data platforms
Experience working in government, defense, or classified environments
Comfortable working in small, fast-moving technical teams
