Responsibilities
- Own the technical direction for your team's domain, driving architecture decisions and ensuring scalable, high-quality systems that serve millions of creators
- Build, coach, and grow a team of engineers - hiring strong talent, running effective performance cycles, and creating a culture where people do their best work
- Partner with product management, design, and data science to define roadmaps, scope projects, and ship features that move the needle
- Experience translating ambiguous problems into clear plans and shipped features alongside product, design, and data science partners
- A demonstrated ability to hire, develop, and retain strong engineers - you care deeply about growing people's careers
- Hands-on experience building and operating systems at scale in a production environment
Requirements
- 5-7 years managing a software engineering team, with a track record of shipping impactful consumer products
- Strong technical foundation - you can review code, guide architectural decisions, and jump into the codebase when needed
- Comfort thriving in fast-paced, ambiguous environments while keeping your team focused across multiple priorities
- Experience at a consumer tech or creator-platform company
- Familiarity with AI/ML-powered product development
- Working knowledge of Python, TypeScript, consumer media systems, or real-time systems
- Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S
Compensation
- $250k-$280k
